University of the Eastern Philippines

The main road from Catarman eastwards leads to the Campus of the University of the Eastern Philippines. To the right the administration building of the University.



Below the College of Veterinary Medicine. The donor of the college sign is my brother in law, former student of this college.



To the right the College of Home Economics offering a broad range of study programs from sewing and woodworks to cooking, i.e. everything you can do at home. Below a sign showing that research at UEP also brings progress for the environment.





At a German university, the building to the right would be the "AstA", the Office of Student Affairs. Below the College of Law.











Below the College of Agriculture, and to the right the College of Engineering...



which also has a workshop (to the right). Below the College of Arts and Communication, my department, so to say...



as the curriculum includes Community Development, Criminology, Journalism, English, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Teacher's Education for Literature and Languages. Students can relax from this program in the"Wisdom Garden" of the College.

Above the training center for the farmers in the region thus enjoying research at UEP. To the left the college of nursing - a highly important study course, as nurses from the Philippines are in demand worldwide.

a internet provider, which seems rather unsuccessful (right) and then the real argument for studying here - the beach. However, UEP students do not see the beach as an attractioin - they say that they have no time for long days at the beach. Very strange...
