To the Jungle









Above to the left the view from the house of my inlaws to the rice fields and the forest. Above to the right the opposite view. Passing the small school in the barrio, one reaches the forest.





Soon there is the river picturesquely meandering through the forest, from time to time opening views to rice fields and lonely houses. However, then the river crossing (above) is reached. Here the electricity ends, motorbike riders leave their motorbikes, and going on by foot is only advisable if you know the way... Besides, the forest is also said to be a hiding place for the NPA, so take care...
