Here the local primary school in Lavezares. I get a guided tour of the school, as the school principal is an aunt of my wife.
The inscription on the wall below shows who was responsible for the recent renovation of the school - among others my father in law. To the left another school building some kms away in the jungle.
At the street to Urdaneta there is a school for handicrafts and agriculture financed by Japanese development assistance. Among the teachers I also meet an aunt of my wife.
And then there is the Holy Family Academy operated by the Brothers and Sisters of Mary Adorous of the Holy Eucharist (SMAHE), which is can be put on a level with high schools. Pictures of this school will follow when available.
