Some kms away there is a resort which belongs to somebody from the extended family. As usual the resort is beautiful, even if there is only a pebble beach - the sense of the colored points all over the rocks did not come clear to me - but the facilities are limited to a hut with roof to be used for having lunch - which you have to bring along.

The water fall of Viriato - basically the main reason for coming to Viriato, and a good meeting point for the local youth.
On the way back from the water fall, we are caught by torrential rains, and the tropic sky shows its real potential.
